Building A Strong Community - Online

In our post last week, we talked about the value of having a strong community, and we shared some ideas for helping to make Tapestri Square a close-knit, vibrant community. In this post, we wanted to share some of the efforts we're making to build an online community for Tapestri Square as well.

Why build an online community? We realize that in today's connected world, more and more people are getting their news and information, as well as staying in touch with friends and family, using online sources.  We want to make sure that Tapestri Square residents and fans have an easy way to stay connected, too, so we're putting together an online community to keep make that easy.

As you've seen over the past several days, a big part of that effort is this blog, which is designed to keep you informed of what's happening at Tapestri Square, as well as provide some background about who we are and what this community is all about. We're also working on developing a Facebook community page, which will be released soon, in addition to some video posts for our YouTube channel.

These efforts will only become a real community, though, with the help of our residents and neighbors.  How can you be an active part of the Tapestri Square online community?  Here are a few suggestions:

1.  Susbscribe. We know how easy it is to get busy and forget about checking for new posts on a blog or a Facebook page. To make it easier, be sure to subscribe to the feeds for the Tapestri Square blog, the Facebook community page, and our YouTube channel. That way, you won't miss a single post!  And you have our word that we won't overwhelm your inbox with a bunch of junk; just quality information about our community.

2.  Share. We know that the best endorsement comes from our residents, people who already love what Tapestri Square is all about. So we ask that you take the time to share what we're doing with your friends.  Whether you send them to the blog, to our Facebook page or to our YouTube channel, we appreciate your support.

3.  Participate. Whether you share your favorite soup recipe for the upcoming cold winter days or your secret tips for the best dining or shopping around, we want to know what you have to say! As fellow aficianadoes of the Midtown lifestyle, your input can help new residents get acclimated and settled in more quickly. You can leave your feedback in the comments, post information on the Facebook page, share a video on the YouTube channel, or submit a guest post to be published on the blog.

Thanks in advance for your participation. We recognize that you, our residents and neighbors, are the most important piece of our community, and we look forward to your feedback!
